NEW YEAR IN RIGA

Day 1: Arrival and New Year’s party                            

Arrival to the capital of Latvia – Riga. Transfer to the hotel. Free time to prepare for the New Year Eve party.              

The romantic city of Riga has lots of attractions and celebrations waiting for you to discover on 2016 New Year’s Eve holiday.

As traditional, residents of Riga will ring in the New Year 2016 at the Freedom Monument and Dome Square. Thousands of Latvian residents will gather by the Freedom Monument to watch the New Year’s fireworks show. It will be a joyous atmosphere. Afterwards, special New Year’s parties, concerts, balls and carnivals will be held all throughout the city. Overnight at the city center hotel.

Day 2: Enjoy relaxing day in spectacular Old Town

Late breakfast. Afternoon features with sightseeing Riga Old Town walking tour: We enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic City: picturesque streets of the Old Town, the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, St.Jacob's Church, St. Mary Magdalene's Church, the Parliament House, Old Riga Castle and many more.

New Year in Riga is beautiful and exhilarating, and 2016 New Year’s Eve definitely brings some additional magic. With a great number of traditional, magnificent architecture, churches, splendid New Year decorations, markets, inspiring music and delicious food and drinks, Riga will make your NYE unforgettable!

Day 3: Enjoy Sigulda and Latvian cousine

Breakfast in the hotel. Spend day on your own and explore sides of Riga or join our optional tour to one of the most romantic cities in Latvia – Sigulda. We visit castles of Turaida and Sigulda, Gutmanis cave. Discover the Sigulda Luge and Bobsleigh Track, where Latvian Olympic athletes train. Enjoy hiking trails and stunning views of Latvian winter nature!

Dinner in a typical Latvian restaurant. (optional)

Overnight at the city center hotel.             

Day 4: Daparture                                    

Breakfast in the hotel. Free time.
Transfer to the airport.

It is possible to organise sightseeing tour on 1 st day as well. (31.12.2015)
We can offer New Year’s celebrations balls and carnivals on request.
